Derek Colling, a Las Vegas Policeman, beat a photograpoher who was filing him and then falsely arrested him.

Grand juries should be the answer to many of our problems with government corruption.  I began writing about this a month ago.

Article of Amendment V of the Bill of Rights gives grand juries the power of Presentment.  In a Presentment, the grand jury independently brings charges, usually against corrupt government officials.

Former Spartanburg County South Carolina Magistrate sent to Federal Prison for Drug Scam

A former Spartanburg County magistrate has been sentenced to a year and a half in federal prison for his role in a drug scandal that also involved a former clerk of court.

Authorities said John Truman Poole, Jr. was sentenced on April 19, 2011 on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine. He had previously pleaded guilty.

San Fernando California Police Officer arrested in connection with Massacre of 145 People

A San Fernando police officer found himself on the other side of the law.

Mexican authorities have arrested officer Joel Resendiz-Moreno for allegedly participating in the kidnapping and murder of 145 bus passengers.

Orange County California loses $4.9 Million Lawsuit Challenge over Lying Social Workers

The County of Orange lost its battle in the U.S. Supreme Court Monday to overturn a record-setting $4.9 million judgment awarded to a Seal Beach woman, after two county social workers lied to a juvenile court commissioner in order to take away the woman’s two daughters.

It took Deanna Fogarty-Hardwick 6 ½ years to regain custody of her children.

115 U.S. Congress Members involved in Scandals and Corruption

In the 235 years of the United States of America, there have been 115 members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives involved in reported scandals. There were only four (4) in the first 100 years.  There were 28 in the second 100 years.  There have been 83 in the last 35 years. That’s 72% in the last 35 years!  And most of the corruption is never discovered or reported.
