Texas will execute a man who was sitting in a pickup when a murder took place elsewhere.
On August 24, 2016, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice plans to inject Jeffery Lee Wood with a lethal dose of pentobarbital to stop his heart.
The scheduled execution is Jeffery Lee Wood’s punishment for the 1996 death of a man he did not kill — and, by some accounts, did not know was going to be killed.

As I travel around the country, I am shocked and appalled by the number of people I meet who have been sent for psych evaluations or committed to mental institutions because they are fighting injustice and corruption.
If it hasn”t happened to you, beware. It is obviously one of the techniques that corrupt officials use to damage those battling corruption.

Felix Roque, a New Jersey mayor, and his son were arrested Thursday by the FBI for allegedly infiltrating and sabotaging a website tied to an effort to recall him.
The story gives a new and troubling definition to the term “political hack.”
The FBI has accused Felix Roque, mayor of West New York, N.J., and his 22-year-old son of illegally canceling the domain name registration of Recallroque.com, a site that wanted Roque taken out of office in a recall election earlier this year, according to Politico.

The government likes to call it “eminent domain.”

Elected officials all across America are guilty of corruption. Here’s the latest from Michigan.
The Securities and Exchange Commission has charged the former mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick with secretly exchanging lavish gifts to peddle his influence over the investment process of the city’s pension funds.
The SEC also charged Jeffrey W. Beasley, the former city treasurer and investment adviser to the pension funds along with Kilpatrick.

Andrew Wordes, an innocent man who had legally been raising a few dozen chickens and other small birds in the backyard of his suburban Atlanta home, is now dead, following a crusade of terror perpetrated against him by the City of Roswell Georgia.
Andrew Wordes, who died during a recent raid on his property in which county marshals tried to illegally evict him, was the obvious victim of a rogue state gone mad — and his blood is now on the hands of the Roswell City Administrator, the Roswell City Council, and the Roswell Police Department, all of which robbed from Wordes his property, his livelihood, and ultimately his life.
