Man on trial on criminal charges kills one and injures his daughter and others outside Texas courthouse

Bartholmew Granger, a man on trial in criminal court with family members opened fire outside a Southeast Texas courthouse on March 14, 2012, killing one person and wounding his daughter and at least two others.  The daughter had just testified against her father.

The gunman also was injured in the incident outside the Jefferson County Courthouse in Beaumont, about 80 miles east of Houston, and has been hospitalized, Beaumont Police Officer Doug Kibodeaux said.

One dead, three wounded in gunfire near Texas courthouse

BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) — A man at court with family members opened fire outside a Southeast Texas courthouse on March 14, 2012, killing one person and wounding at least three others, police said.

The gunman also was injured in the incident outside the Jefferson County Courthouse in Beaumont, about 80 miles east of Houston, and has been hospitalized, Beaumont Police Officer Doug Kibodeaux said.

Alabama Divorce Court Judge Patricia Warner resigned after 74 Corruption Charges were filed against her… but Alabama let her off

Judge Patricia Warner, a domestic-relations judge in Montgomery, Alabama, faces a 127-page civil complaint alleging that she acted  corruptly in more than two dozen cases.

The Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC) served the complaint yesterday on former Montgomery County Circuit Judge Patricia Warner, who abruptly announced her retirement after being elected to a second term in November.

The 74 charges repeatedly use the term “bad faith” to describe Judge Patricia Warner’s actions. The legal definition of bad faith is “the fraudulent deception of another person; the intentional or malicious refusal to perform some duty or contractual obligation.”

Roger Shuler has a pending federal lawsuit against a number of entities and individuals connected to his unlawful termination after 19 years on the job at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

The case is being “handled” by U.S. District Judge William M. Acker, Jr., an 84-year-old Reagan appointee who is as corrupt as he is wrinkled.
