Lawsuit filed by wrongfully convicted man details how law enforcement officials allegedly framed him

A laugh led to the murder of 14-year-old Camille Arfmann in 1999; a widespread conspiracy in Jefferson County Kansas led to the wrong man spending 15 years in prison for the crime, according to allegations in a new federal lawsuit.

As the Journal-World reported earlier this month, Floyd Bledsoe filed a federal lawsuit seeking an undetermined amount of money for being wrongly imprisoned in 2000 for the death of Arfmann, who was his sister-in-law.

In December, a Jefferson County judge ordered Bledsoe to be released…

Writer Quenby Wilcox first became aware of Maria Jose Carrascosa’s illegal detention by the State of New Jersey in 2008, and she has closely followed the horrific travesty of justice and mockery of the democratic process by New Jersey for the past 8 years. Unfortunately, the illegal detention and incarceration of victims of domestic abuse (in psychiatric facilities and penal institutions), is a growing phenomenon, as it is increasingly being used by abusers as a weapon when victims attempt to flee and escape the abuse – as has been the case with Ms. Carrascosa.

Three relatives of Jody Herring found dead in Vermont the day after she killed the Child Protective Services worker who took her only child.

Police say at least two of the three women found dead at a home in Berlin Vermont Saturday morning had been shot.  And investigators now say Jody Herring, the suspect arrested Friday in the murder of a DCF worker in Barre, is related to all three of the victims found in Berlin.  She is the alleged perpetrator in all four murders.

The three victims were found dead by police in a home in the 3100 block of Airport Roadin Berlin Vermont about 8 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015, after a 911 call.
