Day 8 of 143 |
June 21, 2012 was Day 8 for Lawless America…The Movie. It was a day of travel and catch-up.
I finally got a full night’s sleep after sleeping only two hours the night before. I crashed last night about midnight and got up at 8 am and worked on the computer until noon.
I then drove from Nashville to Frankfort Kentucky (capital of Kentucky) and on the Georgetown, Kentucky, where I am spending the night and filming tomorrow.
Thanks to my many Facebook friends for all the help answering questions for me from Facebook folks. As I have stated on facebook, I apologize, but I simply don’t have time to answer those messages and postings.
Here’s the number that will either reach me, the State Coordinator for the day, or voice mail (which should be transcribed the same day and calls returned in a day or so) — currently confidential. This is the best way to reach me. Either I or the State Coordinator will have this phone in hand or nearby at all times.
We are not publishing the list of interviewees any more. You can see how many there are by clicking on Itinerary in the right column on www.LawlessAmerica.com — just under the movie logo. I am adding all of the hotels to the Itinerary. So, unless you are told otherwise, you will be interviewed at the hotel. Should you fail to receive an email with your scheduled time, feel free to come at 10 am; I’ll work you in as quickly as possible.
Today, I was in the car for four hours as I drove 250 miles, so I managed to return calls to every voice mail received in the last week.
I am updating the Daily Journal articles for each day tonight, so be sure to read about the wonderful people I have been seeing. This experience is absolutely phenomenal. I am so much more motivated now to help everyone; each story just motivates me more!
I really appreciate the understanding on my time pressures. As my dear friend Susan Ramsey said on Facebook, I go non-stop without a break all day. I’m a multitasker, and I usually do at least two things at once for 16+ hours a day. Right now, I’m just in survival mode each day. Things should settle down a bit though as I had some good time here at the hotel tonight to reorganize and pack another box to ship back to Atlanta. (I am trying to make the back of the Jeep more functional by reducing the pile so I can see the bag that needs to be grabbed for a specific purpose).

As I pulled into Cracker Barrell in Bardstown, Kentucky for a late lunch, I received a call from Kentucky State Representative Jim Gooch. Mr. Gooch said he finds that attorneys don’t care about the truth. I am delighted to report that Representative Gooch will be coming to give me an interview tomorrow! Gooch for President!
This is especially exciting as he is our first elected official to agree to be filmed, and this follows a call yesterday from the State of Kentucky in which we were uninvited to film in the Capitol Building. After our email went out to all Kentucky legislators, it seems some of them pressured the Capitol staff to cancel our reserved area inside the Capitol. Well, that’s one way for Kentucky to ensure that they will be in the movie!
I find that there are victims EVERYWHERE. At just about every stop for gas, I meet someone who is a victim of corruption. The waitress at Cracker Barrell asked me what the movie was about. When I told her, she grabbed my card and will have her husband contact me because he is a veteran who is getting abused by the government.
When we meet, be sure to ask me about T-Shirts and caps because I forget to put them out or mention them. Both are $17.
The requests to be filmed continue to pour in. One man called me today from Oregon, and he heard about it from a friend in England!
Bring your children, husband, or other person, if you like. I feel that more than one person telling your story is compelling.
On Friday, I will be interviewing one person at a secret location….someone hiding from the bad guys.
I really need those of you in your individual states to take charge and try to make some things happen in your state. Please call the State Capitol, and try to get us a free room for filming. Check your governor’s website, and apply to have the day I am at your Capitol named Lawless America Day. Call elected officials and ask them to come to be interviewed. Call the media, and ask them to come cover the filming.
PLEASE bring your three-minute script and your list of questions. I have found zero time to go print these, and the printer/scanner had to be left at home.
Today is wash day. I packed clothes for eight days, so after seven days, it’s washateria time for me.
Folks, this is one almost impossible job for one human being. The volunteers are SO IMPORTANT! Thank you, thank you! When I get some time, I am going to write an article to remind all of us what we need to do to spread the word about this project. But, the basic message is: Get links to the website and Facebook page sent to everyone you know — send it to your entire email address book; post it on Facebook, and ask your friends to do the same. Go onto chat boards…anywhere that you can spread the word. Abnd EVERY DAY, login to Facebook; then go to www.LawlessAmerica.com, and click on every blue Like Button under the stories on the home page. That will send the stories out all over the Internet. When you reach gray buttons, you will know that you already did those.
THREE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (Please send me an email with VOLUNTEER HERE in the Subject line):
- I could use one person to send out the invitations to be interviewed to every state’s legislators. We will provide the spreadsheets with the email addresses, so all you have to do is send an email that I will provide.
- I could use one person to call the crewmembers the day before they are to report to work on the crew. This means an average of four phone calls per day for 90 of the 143 days.
- I could use someone who knows (or will learn) Joomla to assist Sam (TechSupport@LawlessAmerica.com) in adding the daily reports and photos to https://www.lawlessamerica.com/. I will record the reports using Dragon Naturally Speaking, so my words will be converted to a text file. I will then send you that file and the photos from the day, and you duplicate the previous day’s report, and change the information and photos.

The Basics
Lawless America…The Movie is all about exposing the fact that we now live in Lawless America. We no longer have laws that are enforced because judges do whatever they want to do. America has also become lawless because government officials are dishonest and/or corrupt.
The movie will expose corruption in every state. The Movie will focus on victims. Corrupt judges and corrupt government officials will be exposed, and we will confront a number of the crooks.
If anyone has ever questioned the story of a person who has expressed the view that they were a victim of the government or of judges, this movie will prove that the odds are that the corruption report was true. In fact, there are probably tens of millions of victims in the United States who never realized what happened to them.
One feature length documentary movie is being produced. It will be shown in theaters, on Netflix, Blockbuster, and other such video places, and the movie will be presented at the Sundance Film Festival and other film festivals.

In addition, videos will be produced for each state and for each type of corruption. Everyone who is interviewed for the film will record a three-minute segment that will be done as testimony before Congress as well as a 30-60 minute on-camera interview with Bill Windsor, founder of LawlessAmerica.com and GRIP, and candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives. The legislators in each state will receive the testimony from those in their state, and the members of the U.S. House and Senate will receive all of the testimony nationwide.
Over 750 people are already scheduled to be interviewed for the movie. We will continue to accept as many requests as possible.
The 50-state road trip is planned to take 143 days. Here is the itinerary for Lawless America…the Movie. The road trip starts in Atlanta and heads North and travels counterclockwise around the country. From Olympia, Washington, we will head up to Juneau, Alaksa. Upon the return to Atlanta, Bill Windsor will fly to Honolulu as the 50th state.
All filming will be done either at the State Capitol, at a courthouse in the state capital, or in a meeting room near the Capitol. For those who are unable to travel to the capital, you can still appear in the videos by recording your own video or by being interviewed on camera by Bill Windsor using a webcam and Skype. Webcams are available on loan to those who need one for their interview.
It is our plan that this movie can educate many, many people about the reality that America is broken. We will expose many corrupt judges and government officials. We hope to generate a lot of publicity about corruption that the mainstream media usually hides from the public.
We will deliver proposed judicial reform legislation to the governor and legislators at each state Capitol.
