The Lawless America Mobile Film Studio will soon be all decked out and ready for the road.

For 143 days, this giant rolling billboard will travel to every state capital and to Washington, DC.

Take a look at the design produced by Paul Irey, and give us your comments…

The Lawless America logo is HUGE.  It will be at least 10-feet wide.

One thing I want to change is to remove the  ā€œOur movie asks: Can 750 Nobodies Save America?ā€ so it isnā€™t so busy.  We can put that on the left side and have ā€œWanted One Honest Government Officialā€ on the right side.

We looked at a dark gray/black Gulfstream Crescendo RV today.  If we get it, the yellow gold lettering with a black shadow and black lettering will change to straight yellow gold or white.

The front of the RV will only have the URL along the top over the windshield.

On the back of the RV, I would like to have www.LawlessAmerica.com high up on the back; ā€œMobile Film Studioā€ beneath the logo; Whistleblower Productions on the bottom/bumper area.

Hereā€™s a link to the RV — http://www.campingworldofchattanooga.com/class-a-diesel/2008/gulfstream-crescendo/175509#.T7fHlMWaa8A

Thereā€™s a huge financial impact since we donā€™t have a donated RV.

If you have any ideas about design, different lettering, or color, please add your comments.  The designer wanted to do red, white, and blue, but our caps, shirts, directors chairs, T-Shirts, and equipment are all blackā€¦.as well as the logo.

We could sure use some donations.  This RV will comfortably sleep four (Queen size bed, sofa bed, and two bunks).  If we go with this RV, we could have two volunteers to travel with us, if we can’t raise the $40,000 for two professional film people.  Even two volunteers will cost us at least $8,000 (conservatively) for food.

We have had two wonderful people volunteer to paint the RV.  I believe we will have to use decals.  If someone can produce the decals at no charge, that would save us a lot of money!

Several people don’t like the “Nobodies” language, but we have made this a big part of the promotion.  I’m proud to be a Nobody.  The copy we are using says: “Can 750 nobodies save America?  With your help, the nobodies can become somebodies, and we can accomplish the seemingly impossible.

We are also planning to have Nobody T-Shirts.  Front: “I’m a Nobody”  Back: “Be a Nobody.  Help us Save America from Government and Judicial Corruption. www.LawlessAmerica.com”

25 days and countingā€¦.

Project Update

Work on this film project began in March.  June 14 always loomed on the horizon, but now that the trip begins in less than a month, panic is starting to set in.  There is so much still to be done.

Using all volunteers to help with the project is clearly a challenge.  Unfortunately, many people have their hearts in the right place, but they haven’t managed to get their assigned tasks done.  As a result, I have had to drop my projects to do others that are more time-sensitive.

We don’t have the luxury of delaying the start date as I feel taking the trip during this election year is very important.  The trip is scheduled to end three days before the elections in November.

Media Coverage — We have received inquiries from “mainstream media” outlets in several of the first states on the itinerary.  ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox were invited (first responder gets an exclusive) to have one reporter travel in the RV and obtain exclusive interviews, but none of the networks have responded.  The first two of many news releases have been issued — a general announcement and an invitation for students to work on the film crew.  One computer is running full-time at the Intergalactic headquarters of Lawless America, sending news releases by email at the rate of three every two minutes.

Student Crews –Students are beginning to sign up to work on the film crew in their state.  I encourage all participants to help us get the word out to your state’s colleges and universities.  A news release and letter are available; please contact colleges, and ask them to distribute this information to Radio-TV-Film students.

Film Locations — We have begun sending requests to film in a room at each State Capitol.  Thus far, only the State of North Dakota is the only state to respond with a room and other accommodations.  Anyone who can arrange a room for us to use in any of the towns where we will be filming, we would certainly appreciate it.  Thus far, we have rooms provided by some film studios, a TV studio, churches, and a casino.  The lobby of a hotel can work.  If a room is provided, we could work with just about any size room though 500 square feet would probably be ideal.  We would LOVE to get one major hotel chain to agree that we can use a meeting room or the corner of their hotel lobby; contacts are being made.

Mobile Film Studio (RV) — Unfortunately, the generous donor friend who offered to provide a new RV bus for the trip has had to withdraw his offer due to circumstances beyond his control (divorce).  So, we are working on Plan C and D.  We found an excellent vehicle that is available to us, but then the possibility of a much larger, much nicer RV bus popped up.  We don’t have much time to leave this critical item unresolved.  I plan to finalize arrangements by May 27 one way or another.  One of our volunteers, Paul Irey, is producing the graphic design for the “Mobile Film Studio.”

Donations — Our “no-budget movie” has received donations from over 100 people.  Huge THANK YOU to all who have donated.  It appears that we will fail in our effort to raise $50,000, but hope springs eternal.  There are several significant potential donations lurking out there.  If you can afford a few bucks or $50,000, please donate.

Volunteers — We need more help.  On Monday, I am going to publish an updated article indicating the projects that we need help with.  I’ll post this after we see what the existing volunteers have done by their Sunday deadline.  Two specific needs are someone to coordinate the publicity efforts and someone to coordinate the student crewmembers; these jobs can be done primarily by email.  We could certainly use more people who know ow to do site scraping as we want to scrape names and email addresses for all of the major newspapers and TV sttaions in each state; I have the lists so we just need people to scrape.  If you don’t know how to do site scraping but would like to learn how, two of the easiest are Mozenda and an add-in for Firefox called Outwit.

Movie Listings — Everyone who is being filmed will have a page on this website.  This is the index page for the Movie Listings.  This is an example of a Movie Listing.  We will be adding an easy-to-use state index and a map.  A significant number of those being filmed have logged in to add information to their page.  Everyone can add photos, information about their experiences, videos, documents, and more.  I wanted to have all of these finished before the trip began, but we simply haven’t received the basic information from waaay too many.  So, we will now just have to finalize each state as we go.  Each evening, I will ensure that the Movie Listings for the folks filmed that day are prepared.  We will upload their video and link it to their page.  If you are to be filmed, please be sure to login and update your Movie Listing.  Each of the participants was sent a special login and password for this.

Equipment — We have everything that we must have.  We still have a few items on our wish list.  If anyone has a High Definition video camera that they would be willing to loan us for the trip, we could use another camera for the student crews to use shooting B-roll.  If a donor doesn’t step up, we may need to use some of the donations to buy or rent another camera.

Music — Several volunteers have offered to produce music for the movie.  We are delighted to consider anything that these creative people put together!  So, if you have volunteered or would like to volunteer to produce a theme song or do the whole soundtrack, we would love to see what you have to offer.

Special Events — Participants have taken it upon themselves to organize special events in the towns where they will be filmed.  A number of special things have been planned.  We have added Memphis, Tennessee to the itinerary after Little Rock, Arkansas because some people in Memphis want to make an event in Memphis the biggest and best of the whole trip.  So, if you would like to put something together, let me know.  Crowds are good.

T-Shirts and Caps — We have the official Lawless America caps, and the T-Shirts are expected next week.  We will have these for sale at each stop.  the caps are dark grey with the logo.  The T-Shirts are black with the Lawless America logo on the front and the back.  On the back it says: “See me in the Movie” above the logo and “Stop Government and Judicial Corruption” below the logo.  Caps are $15 and T-Shirts are $17.  The profits will all be used to cover expenses of the movie.

Food and Pie Donations –Several wonderful people have offered to bring food for the crew.  Food is a big expense, so we will graciously accept such kind donations.  Some of you know that my wife and I previously drove to all 50 states on two-lane roads.  We saw the sights that most people miss, and we ate at local cafes and restaurants where they almost always serve great pie.  We ate 181 pieces of pie in 148 days.  Pie just works well with a roadtrip, so we will not be shy about welcoming any and all pies.  Tongue out

Briefing for Participants –The trip begins Thursday, June 14.  So, on Sunday, June 10, we will have a briefing for all participants from 5-7 pm Eastern Time.  Please plan to attend.  It will be telecast live at www.Livestream.com/lawlessamerica, and it will be on TalkShoe.  We simply do not have the staff or the time to speak with you individually, so please tune in.  You can ask questions on the chat board, or you can call in to TalkShoe, or we can call you.  A special email will be sent out about this a week ahead of time.

The Basics

Lawless America…The Movie is all about exposing the fact that we now live in Lawless America.  We no longer have laws that are enforced because judges do whatever they want to do.  America has also become lawless because government officials are dishonest and/or corrupt.

The movie will expose corruption in every state.  The Movie will focus on victims.  Corrupt judges and corrupt government officials will be exposed, and we will confront a number of the crooks.

If anyone has ever questioned the story of a person who has expressed the view that they were a victim of the government or of judges, this movie will prove that the odds are that the corruption report was true.  In fact, there are probably tens of millions of victims in the United States who never realized what happened to them.

One feature length documentary movie is being produced.  It will be shown in theaters, on Netflix, Blockbuster, and other such video places, and the movie will be presented at the Sundance Film Festival and other film festivals.

In addition, videos will be produced for each state and for each type of corruption.  Everyone who is interviewed for the film will record a three-minute segment that will be done as testimony before Congress as well as a 30-60 minute on-camera interview with Bill Windsor, founder of LawlessAmerica.com and GRIP, and candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives.  The legislators in each state will receive the testimony from those in their state, and the members of the U.S. House and Senate will receive all of the testimony nationwide.

Over 750 people are already scheduled to be interviewed for the movie.  We will continue to accept as many requests as possible.

The 50-state road trip is planned to take 143 days.  Here is the itinerary for Lawless America…the Movie.  The road trip starts in Atlanta and heads North and travels counterclockwise around the country.  From Olympia, Washington, we will head up to Juneau, Alaksa.  Upon the return to Atlanta, Bill Windsor will fly to Honolulu as the 50th state.

All filming will be done either at the State Capitol, at a courthouse in the state capital, or in a meeting room near the Capitol.  For those who are unable to travel to the capital, you can still appear in the videos by recording your own video or by being interviewed on camera by Bill Windsor using a webcam and Skype.  Webcams are available on loan to those who need one for their interview.

It is our plan that this movie can educate many, many people about the reality that America is broken.  We will expose many corrupt judges and government officials.  We hope to generate a lot of publicity about corruption that the mainstream media usually hides from the public.

We will deliver proposed judicial reform legislation to the governor and legislators at each state Capitol.

We will make room in the film schedule for anyone with a great story of corruption.  Email bill@lawlessamerica.com.
