Sunny Sheu was a victim of mortgage fraud, who discovered that a New York Supreme Court Judge was complicit in the fraud that stole his home.
Sunny was officially scheduled to testify at a New York State Senate hearing on Judicial Corruption, but before he could testify, he was abducted by two New York Police department detectives and threatened with death if he “went to the authorities.”
Sunny requested witness protection from the FBI and posted a video on Youtube predicting his murder by the judge and the New York Police Department….
Days later, on June 26th 2010, Sunny was found bludgeoned to death on a dead end street in Flushing Queens.
Hours after his death, the New York Police Department illegally removed his body and sent it to the Medical Examiner with a note saying he had dies of an “aneurysm” and that there was “no criminality.”
The Medical examiner disagreed and ruled the cause of death “Blunt force trauma to the Head with skull fractures and brain injuries.” and the manner of death “undetermined,” making a criminal investigation mandatory.
There has been no investigation.
The New York Police Department has violated New York State law by denying FOIL request for information regarding Sunny’s death.
The case is thoroughly detailed and documented at:
On May 18th, 2011, the Blackstar News sent a certified letter to New York Police Department Commissioner Ray Kelly, describing the case and demanding an investigation.
Receipt of the letter was confirmed, but Kelly has not responded.
If a whistleblower can be kidnapped, threatened by the New York Police Department, then murdered without an investigation, all New Yorkers are in dire jeopardy.
That’s why I signed a petition to Raymond Kelly: Commissioner of New York Police Department and Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City, which says:
“Commissioner Kelly and Mayor Bloomberg:
Anti-corruption Whistle blower Sunny was abducted by two New York Police Department detectives of the Queens DA bureau and threatened with death if he “went to the authorities”.
Soon thereafter, Mr. Sheu was found near death, in a coma on a dead end street in Flushing Queens.
Hours after his death, the New York Police Department illegally removed his body and sent it to the Medical Examiner with a note saying he had died of natural causes and that there was “no criminality”.
The Medical examiner disagreed, ruling the cause of death “Blunt force trauma to the Head with skull fractures and brain injuries.” and the manner of death “undetermined”, making a criminal investigation mandatory.
-The New York Police Department is violating New York State law by failing to investigate an “undetermined” death.
-The New York Police Department is violating New York State FOIL law by withholding information about Mr. Sheu’s death.
We demand an immediate, full, transparent investigation by an independent prosecutor and prosecution of all involved, including New York Police Department personnel.”
