Hawkins County Tennessee Juvenile Court Judge James Taylor is now facing disciplinary action for judicial misconduct.
Judge James Taylor judge faces disciplinary action after being found in contempt of court and failing to respond to the questions of investigators who work for a panel that disciplines Tennessee judges.

Taylor has been allowed to work part-time as both a judge and a lawyer, was found in contempt of court last year by the Tennessee Criminal Court of Appeals for his work as an attorney.
The appellate court found Taylor in contempt for failing to take steps to protect his client’s interests in an appeal.
He was found in contempt for something similar in 2006. He’s also accused of improperly soliciting money for a courtroom display. March 29, 2011.
