Bexar County, Texas, Corrections Officer Charged with Civil Rights Violations

A Bexar County, Texas corrections officer, Raymond Alexander Quinteros, was charged on March 10, 2011 in a two-count federal indictment with violating the civil rights of two detainees, announced the Department of Justice.

The charges stem from two incidents – one on Oct. 8, 2007; the other on May 31, 2009 – in which Raymond Quintero, 33, of San Antonio, allegedly assaulted inmates at the Bexar County Detention Center.
