Law Enforcement Crimes, Abuse, and Corruption

John Eric Armstrong - Ellis County Texas Corruption Victim - Part 4

Shane Thompson Ellis County Sheriffs Office 200h

This is Lieutenant Shane Thompson of the Ellis County Sheriff's Office.  Shane Thompson is a liar and a corrupt law enforcement officer.  Shane Thompson put John Eric Armstrong in solitary confinement in the Ellis County Jail for over a year without a trial anywhere in sight.  John Eric Armstrong has never been convicted or charged with a crime before -- not even now.  It's an incredible story - Part 4.

This is John Eric Armstrong - Ellis County Texas Corruption Victim - Part 4 -- His story in his words:

Protest July 7, 2019

I went back to Lauren Kersh's house on this day in protest for what Lauren Kersh and the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office had done to me.  Lauren Kersh pulled a gun on me and threatened to kill me (aggravated assault).  The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office deputies wrote reports and issued a criminal trespass warning against me, and Sheriff Chuck Edge fired me.  I didn’t know that they secretly accused me of, stalking without an arrest (on June 9th), but I knew they wrote a report against me for something and issued a criminal trespass warning against me.

It had been nearly a month of harassment by Lauren Kersh and the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office.  I wore a suit and tie so that if Lauren Kersh shot me, it would at least raise a few red flags that a man wearing a suit and tie was dead in her front yard.  I knocked on her door.  There was no answer, and I left.  I could hear her through the door in a calm (uninterested) tone say, “yeah, he’s back.”  She did not call 911 (again), and I was not arrested on this day.

Marcos Pizza July 8, 2019

After being fired from the Ellis County Jail, I took a job at Marcos Pizza to get money coming in.  On July 8, 2019, my supervisor (Chris) pulled me aside to talk to me.  He told me that some people came to the store to talk to him about me.  They said he needs to be careful with me as I was fired from the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office for stalking some girl.  They said he needs to be careful because as a delivery driver, I had access to people’s addresses and went to their homes.

Chris suggested that these were police officers who came in to speak with him and asked if I was who they were talking about.  I told him “yes,” and that I didn’t do anything.  He said, “ok.”  I can’t have you going to some hottie’s house to deliver a pizza and then going back later.”

On July 8th, (the same day), Lauren Kersh admits on camera that her friend works at Marcos Pizza and that’s how she knows I work there.  Lauren Kersh states on camera in an interview with Lt. Shane Thompson (posted on Youtube) that she knows I work at Marcos.  So, Kersh’s brother and deputy friends went to my job and harassed me to my boss.  Lauren Kersh’s friend who works at Marcos is a Hispanic male named Sammy.  My supervisor Chris is a tall, stocky white male who as of July 2020 still worked there.

Arrest July 9, 2019

On July 9, 2019, Lt. Shane Thompson made Joe Fitzgerald’s false arrest for him.  Lt. Shane Thompson is Joe Fitzgerald’s supervisor and was not involved in this until July 8th.  Shane Thompson’s complaint wasn’t written until the 8th and his report (for June 9th/10th) wasn’t written until the case was closed.  Shane Thompson’s report has an asterisk (*) and a 1 by it (*1). This means the entry was made after the report was closed.  Shane Thompson’s report says that he was involved in this from the beginning (June 9th/10th).

Shane tried to make his report look like he was involved from the start because he can’t make another officer’s arrest for him.  He tried to make it look like he took a witness report in June.  Going to Lauren Kersh’s house on the 7th showed Joe Fitzgerald and Sheriff Chuck Edge that I wasn’t going to give up.

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office had to complete their false arrest to give the appearance that I committed a crime on the 9th/10th of June to justify withholding the video recordings which did not belong to any reported crime.  Additionally, arresting me without probable cause stopped me from reporting the aggravated assault and their false reports by placing me in a position where I had to prove my innocence.  On paper, Shane Thompson charged me on the 7th of July but he arrested me for the 9th of June when Kersh pulled a gun on me and threatened to kill me.  They need me to be guilty of stalking on the 9th when the video recordings of the false witness statements were taken and Lauren Kersh’s confession to an aggravated assault was made so they can justify withholding the video evidence.  Shane Thompson did not charge me for going back to Lauren Kersh’s house on the 7th.  The language is from the 9th of June only.  As far as their paperwork is concerned, I never went back to Lauren Kersh’s house as nothing is mentioned from the 7th).

Shane Thompson wasn’t allowed to make an arrest in the first place because I hadn’t done anything.  Shane Thompson had no probable cause against me for any crime.  Additionally, the witness statements that were taken didn’t pertain to any crime (no probable cause) except for Lauren Kersh’s crime.

There’s no probable cause for stalking or any crime listed within the complaint.  Even if a crime
had been committed, Shane Thompson wasn’t allowed to make an arrest in the first place because he didn’t take any of the witness statements from June 9 (he wasn’t involved).

Judge Dan Cox signed Shane Thompson’s complaint and set a bond for $10,000 before I was arrested.  I never stood in front of Judge Dan Cox.  I never spoke to him, and I never signed anything.

Judge Dan Cox signed Shane Thompson’s complaint for stalking even though it contained no probable cause for stalking.  Shane Thompson never made an attempt to arrest me.  A warrant was issued one day after Judge Dan Cox signed Shane Thompson’s complaint on the 8th.

I was arrested on their warrant for stalking by three Ellis County Sheriff’s deputies on July 9th, one month after Kersh pulled a gun on me.  When they arrested me, they waited at my apartment for me to get into my car and leave.  Then they pulled me over on the service road, arrested me without probable cause, and towed my vehicle.

Shane Thompson told Lauren Kersh in an interview on camera from the 8th that I hadn’t done anything but they would arrest me anyway and issue an emergency protective order against me.

On July 9th, I agreed to speak with Shane Thompson.  I had just been arrested, and my only purpose for speaking with Shane Thompson was to protest my false arrest.  Again, I thought Lauren Kersh just made a mistake, and I didn’t want to throw her under the bus.  So, I protested by talking to Shane Thompson about the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office’s sexual harassment of Lauren Kersh.  I told Shane Thompson all of the details about my conversation with Sheriff Chuck Edge.  Shane Thompson admitted knowing about the deputies watching Lauren Kersh’s pornography video and harassing her.  I asked Shane Thompson if he thought his deputies harassing this lady was a good thing.  All Shane Thompson would say is that he thinks people make mistakes.

I asked Shane Thompson if he watched Lauren Kersh’s video.  Shane Thompson hesitated but answered no.  Shane Thompson asked me a few questions about my conversation with Lauren Kersh on June 3, 2019 - six days before the aggravated assault.  Shane Thompson told me two separate times that Lauren Kersh is terrified (she’s not).  After the interview, Shane Thompson upgraded the charge to stalking continuous.

Shane Thompson stated twice that Lauren Kersh was terrified.  Lauren Kersh wasn’t terrified on the 3rd of June when I spoke to her, nor was she terrified on June 9 when she pulled a gun on me and threatened to kill me (she was arrogant).  While she was not terrified, she is supposed to be afraid.  Lauren Kersh pulled a gun on me and threatened to kill me.  She committed a crime (Aggravated Assault, a second-degree felony), and she should be absolutely terrified that she will be arrested or get caught.  This is a good fear for her or any criminal to have.  Her fear is caused by her committing a crime, not me.  Also, it is reasonable for Lauren Kersh to fear that I may retaliate.  I wouldn’t, but it’s a reasonable fear and not my fault.  If Lauren Kersh had any actual fear, it is a consequence of HER criminal actions.

Detention Officer (jailer) Latosha Bolden -- Impersonating a Police Officer (Texas Penal Code Sec. 37.11)  July 7, 2019

Detention Officer Latosha Bolden helped the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office (Sgt. Joe Fitzgerald, Lt. Shane Thompson), arrest me without probable cause (Deprivation of Rights 18 U.S.C. Sec. 242 and/or Conspiracy against Rights 18 U.S.C. 241) by impersonating a police officer (Texas Penal Code Sec. 37.11) and abuse of official capacity (Texas Penal Code Sec. 39.03.)

Detention Officer Latosha Bolden impersonated a police officer by performing an action in her official capacity as a jailer that only a police officer has the official capacity to do and performed said action to commit fraud against me by having me arrested without probable cause on behalf of her friend (Lauren Kersh).

Latosha Bolden ordered me not to go back to Lauren Kersh’s house in her official capacity as a jailer and then issued an official complaint against me in her official capacity as a jailer when I went back.  Latosha Bolden did this to make an excuse for her friend Lauren Kersh who pulled a gun on me by creating the appearance that someone in authority (a police officer) told me not to return to Lauren Kersh’s house but I did anyway.  She tried to create a reasonable cause for Lauren Kersh to have pulled a gun on me by falsifying probable cause against me for having committed a crime (stalking).  Latosha Bolden issued her official complaint in her official capacity as a jailer.  She signed it; she used her Ellis County Sheriff’s Office ID number, and she had it notarized.

Latosha Bolden is only a jailer, and she does not have the authority to issue an official complaint against a person as only a police officer can do this.  She cannot order a person not to go somewhere in her official capacity as a jailer either.  This is a crime (impersonating a police officer); it is fraud; and it is a violation of my right to due process.  The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office (Lt. Shane Thompson) has violated my right to due process by using Latosha Bolden’s official complaint (fraud) as probable cause (evidence) against me to make an arrest (without probable cause) (fraud).  The Ellis County District Attorney’s Office has violated my right to due process by using Latosha Bolden’s official complaint (fraud) as evidence against me.

Arraignment and Emergency Protective Order July 10, 2019

I was arraigned the next day by Chris Macon (Justice of the Peace) who had to make a phone call during the arraignment. I worked in the jail (in booking) and anytime a Judge had to make a call, it meant there was something very bad wrong with the paperwork.  Judge Chris Macon could see there was no probable cause for stalking or an Emergency Protective Order (“EPO”).  The complaint narrative doesn’t allege any wrongdoing.  It was also signed by another judge.  Judge Chris Macon came back and arraigned me for stalking continuous and issued an emergency protective order against me (the victim of a violent crime) for 91 days.

An EPO is issued for 60 days unless a gun is used, then it becomes 91 days.  The only gun involved was the one Lauren Kersh pulled on me.  So, Judge Chris Macon issued a 91-day EPO against me because Lauren Kersh pulled a gun on me and threatened to kill me (Aggravated Assault).   The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office (Shane Thompson himself) has admitted they were wrong in the court transcripts (103654 CCL) from 7/9/2020 and so has Lauren Kersh.  Shane Thompson also admits that I haven’t done anything wrong in the documents and video evidence.

To be continued....
