Battling Corruption

William M. Windsor, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, has introduced state legislation designed to reform the legal and judicial process.  These are changes that Windsor says are desperately needed.

The legal systems and judicial systems in Georgia and every state in America must be reformed.  Dishonesty and corruption have stolen the rights of every American.

This is Part 9 of a series of articles that will address the proposed legislation for Georgia.  This proposed legislation modifies the existing statutes on Public Officers and Employees, requiring a contract that makes public officers and employees accountable to the people.

These changes are an amendment to Georgia Code Title 15, Chapter 19 15-19-51:

TITLE 45. PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES

CHAPTER 2 - Eligibility and Qualification for Office

§ 45-2-10.  Contract with the Citizens of Georgia

(a)  Each elected official and every government employee in the state, including all federal elected officials and federal employees operating in the state, shall be required to sign a Contract with the Citizens of Georgia and the United States.  This Contract requires those signing to be honest at all times while performing their duties and to protect our fundamental rights afforded by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  Violation of the Contract will be presented to a Special Grand Jury.

Contract with the Citizens of Georgia

WHEREAS, I am a government employee or I am a candidate for an elected government office; and

WHEREAS, I recognize that the citizens of Georgia and the United States of America expect me to be honest and honor the Constitution and the Bill of Rights;

NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration:

I hereby promise that I will be honest in everything that I say and do while in any position with any government authority in the United States.

I promise to always tell the truth while performing my duties.

I promise to honor and defend the Constitution at all times and in all situations.

I promise to honor and defend the Bill of Rights at all times and in all situations.

I promise to bring honor and integrity to everything I do in my capacity as a public servant, and to never lose sight of the fact that my duty while serving in government is service to my country and its people by honoring and fulfilling the intent of our founders in their drafting of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States.

I will voluntarily remove myself from office if I ever violate this promise.

If a complaint is made against me and any jury finds that I have violated this Contract, I will immediately resign my position, and I will agree to never seek employment or any elected position with any government authority at the national, state, county, or local level.

EXECUTED this _____ day of ___________________, 20____.

(b)  Any judge, elected officials, or government employee removed from office shall not thereafter serve in any judicial position, elected position, or government position.

Notes:  This makes our government officials ACCOUNTABLE to the people; they are essentially accountable to no one at this time.
